PLL YOUTH SIXES LEAGUE
WANT TO PLAY ON YOUR FAVORITE PLL TEAM?
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and San Diego Lacrosse Academy (SDLA) proudly present a unique offering – The PLL Youth Sixes League! Following the widely praised PLL Championship Series, young lacrosse enthusiasts statewide will join forces to partake in an Olympic-style lacrosse experience, featuring a novel 6-on-6 game format. In the "Sixes" league, all players wield short sticks and function as midfielders, maneuvering across the entire field. Catering to boys and girls, from kindergarten through eighth grade, our PLL Youth Sixes League boasts divisions categorized as 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U, aligning with the USA Lacrosse Age Chart(s).

All Boys or Girls Kindergarten (8U) - 8th Grade (14U) players are welcome.

League Dates: June 13th - July 25th
The PLL Summer Sixes schedule is still being developed in an effort to accommodate as many youth association practices as possible. Practices and games will be on weeknights.
AGES/ TIME
Boys & Girls 3rd - 4th grade 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Boys & Girls 5th - 6th grade 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Boys & Girls 7th - 8th grade 7:00pm - 8:00pm
All games will have one official and will be played with sixes rules in which both teams can have 5 field players and 1 goalie on the field at a time. Team rosters will have 10-15 players.
JERSEYS
Exclusive to SDLA in collaboration with PLL, and featuring the official jersey designed for the Best Lacrosse Players in the World, Champion® Sportswear is designing and supplying each athlete with an official youth jersey from one of the eight teams.
WHERE
All games are scheduled to take place at 4S Ranch Community Park, lined exclusively for the Sixes format!
RULES + FORMAT
The games will adhere to a modified Sixes style of play, incorporating elements from both the World Lacrosse Sixes rulebook and incorporating slight adjustments inspired by PLL SIXES.
